Spring has arrived at Biltmore, and visitors can expect a delightful experience for all their senses. The mesmerizing exhibition of Chihuly at Biltmore and the colorful historic gardens are just some of the artistic experiences that await. Thousands of spring flowers bloom across the property, with daffodils, tulips, wisteria, azaleas, rhododendron, and roses. Hiking and biking enthusiasts can enjoy over 22 miles of trails, offering stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Mount Pisgah, and the French Broad River.
Biltmore House’s floral team has created a beautiful floral decor inside the house, reflecting the theme of “Spring Romance.” Guests are welcomed with Victorian-era maypoles decorated with ribbon and fresh spring plants. To honor the 100th anniversary of Cornelia Vanderbilt’s wedding, the team has recreated a large wedding bell and floral bouquet display in the Tapestry Gallery, based on the decor for the couple’s wedding breakfast in 1924.
Visitors can enjoy an all-new Biltmore House audio guide, which debuts in several languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, and Mandarin Chinese. The guide features new stories about the Vanderbilts and their guests. Estate admission includes the English version, available from April 15, with the other versions becoming available later this spring. Additionally, an American Sign Language tour and a descriptive audio tour for visually impaired guests will also be offered.
