Subaru of America, Inc. has officially announced the pricing for the 2026 Subaru Crosstrek, highlighting the introduction of the new Crosstrek Hybrid. This latest iteration of the popular compact SUV comes packed with a host of enhancements, including a next-generation series-parallel hybrid system designed to improve range and capability while maintaining the legacy of comfort and convenience associated with the Crosstrek name.
All 2026 Crosstrek models are equipped with the renowned Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. The new hybrid variant integrates its advanced powertrain seamlessly into the existing vehicle architecture, ensuring that performance is not compromised. Under the hood, every Crosstrek comes standard with a robust 2.5-liter SUBARU BOXER® engine, producing 180 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque, a feature that’s newly standard across all trim levels this year.
The 2026 lineup includes Base, Premium, Sport, Sport Hybrid, Limited, Limited Hybrid, and Wilderness trims. Notably, the Crosstrek Limited and Limited Hybrid now come equipped with the DriverFocus® Distraction Mitigation System, enhancing driver safety and focus.
Among its many features, the Crosstrek maintains its signature X-MODE® Dual Mode System, providing exceptional handling with at least 8.7 inches of ground clearance for off-road versatility. Each model boasts the Lineartronic® CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) for smooth, efficient driving experiences.
Standard in all trim levels is the award-winning EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology, which includes a pre-collision braking system, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, and adaptive cruise control. Advanced safety features, including automatic emergency steering, further enhance the vehicle’s safety credentials.
Pricing for the 2026 Subaru Crosstrek starts at an MSRP of $26,995, which includes a suite of standard features ranging from EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology to dual-zone automatic climate control and 17-inch alloy wheels. The infotainment system features dual 7.0-inch touchscreens, allowing for integrated smartphone connectivity.
The Crosstrek Premium trim, starting at $27,995, builds on the base model with added convenience features, including aluminum-alloy wheels and the upgraded Subaru 11.6-inch Multimedia Plus system.
For those seeking a sporty take on the Crosstrek, the Sport trim, launching at $30,625, introduces unique styling elements that enhance its appeal to adventure enthusiasts.
All models are expected to arrive at retailers this fall, giving Subaru fans a chance to experience the next generation of the highly acclaimed Crosstrek. With a perfect blend of capability, comfort, and cutting-edge technology, the 2026 Subaru Crosstrek is set to redefine the compact SUV experience.
