Anyone who has been following the real estate industry in Vancouver over the past few years knows that Rimpy Hothi of Sutton Real Estate has been on a meteoric rise to the top of her game, making her one of the highest-paid real estate agents in the city—and in all of Canada! But how exactly did she do it? How can you emulate her success? Here’s how Rimpy did it.
Challenges she has faced
Rimpy Hothi continues to work hard and is not going to let haters stop her from doing what she loves. Realtors are intentionally preventing Rimpy from acquiring new clients by refusing to refer her and discouraging others from doing the same. To them, seeing a woman succeeding and holding her own in an industry of men makes it difficult.
What she wants in real estate industry
Rimpy tells us that real estate is an incredible industry that enables me to help people get the place they’ve always wanted and, of course, make money for myself at the same time. She motivates other women in any field to succeed and dominate. She expanded her business into more areas across Vancouver and hopes to expand to Victoria soon. There are no limits to what I can do, said Rimpy. The only limitations I see are the ones we put on ourselves. I want every woman pursuing a career in any field to be vicious doing so and attack what’s yours or what can be. Life’s too short to be afraid, she says.
What makes her a top-ranked real estate agent?
While Rimpy has won many awards, the three that stand out the most are her President Award, Million Dollar Award, and Master Medallion. The first award is given to one person every year for their contribution to Sutton West Coast, whereas the second award is given to agents who have sold over one million dollars worth of property. Till now, more than 1 billion dollars worth of property has been sold by Rimpy Hothi. She has also achieved a master medallion award which signifies she is among the best 1% of all the agents around.
