Christian Anderson, more famously known as Trust’N, has been tearing it up in the entrepreneurial space. Anderson made the decision to drop out of school during his senior year of college to expand his business, a decision that has paid off tenfold. The singer, serial entrepreneur, and record executive now heads a multi-million dollar holdings company called Lost Boy Holdings LLC alongside his business partner Bryce Vander Sanden. The Lost Boy umbrella boats a list of powerful companies including Lost Boy Entertainment LLC (PR & Marketing), Lost Boy Records LLC (Record Label), Lost Boy Logistics LLC (E-commerce & Real Estate), and Lost Boy Clothing (Fashion). Anderson is gearing up to release a brand-new project collaborative project with a longtime friend and fellow Madisonian BKWDS.
Ahead of the release, we got the chance to catch up with Trust’N to discuss some of the most important things going on in Anderson’s career. You can read through our interview below.
Interview with Christian Anderson
What was the transition like going from Wisconsin to LA?
I had been traveling to LA so much the last few years that it just kinda already started to feel like the right place. I think the biggest thing was removing myself from all the negative energy that was around me. There was a lot of that back home.
How has moving to LA affected both you and your business?
It changed everything. Last year we made a million dollars, I got a lot healthier physically and mentally. It allows me to meet people in person which I prefer anyway. You know, now we are in the action. We just moved into a really nice house. There couldn’t be a better place to be.
You recently landed a gig writing for Rolling Stone. What has that experience been like?
Having the privilege of contributing to such a world-renowned magazine is very humbling. Rolling Stone is up there with the most influential magazines in the world. I’m honored to be recognized by them and eager to keep building over there with them.
With all of the successful businesses you have going, what’s next for the Lost Boys?
We’ve been looking to move even deeper into e-com. We just moved deeper into real estate. It’s a 2 man show, Bryce and I, we do pretty much everything. That’s what a lot of people don’t realize. Besides that, personally, I want to drop my project this summer and we have plans to do that. It’s going to be big so I’m excited about that.
What type of music or vibe can your fans be expecting this time around with this new release?
This is an EP that BKWDS and I have been working on together for years. We’ve been sitting on records just waiting for the right moment. That moment is coming soon. But we’ve both lived a lot of life during that time. Going through ups and downs, relationships. All of it is in the music. I think that’s what’s most exciting.
