What Is The Factor That Drives You? What Is The Reason For You Doing What You Do?
I don’t know exactly which factor pushes and drives me to engage in a startup business or start a new enterprise. However, one thing is for sure: the interest in doing and getting involved in such activities has always been there from the very beginning. It is astonishing for a person like me to be sure about something as I am usually not certain about many things that are part of my life. But this one thing is what I really want to continue to do.
All of this comes from very deep inward feelings. In fact, if I do not involve myself in something challenging, interesting, or exciting, I start to feel unhappy and become restless.
I think it is very much linked to my love of sports and what I received from it, and in specific ways, I have been exploring in my life for something that can replace sports.
We can also describe this feeling as tenaciousness.
At times, I joke to people that if I get a very detailed and complex car manual and was asked to go and fix the car, I would certainly do it. I think there is, inside me, something that makes me accept all types of challenges no matter what. I also realize that it is not related to money, but it links with being creative and engaging with people. For example, if I had to choose between building a successful business or winning the lottery, I would certainly go for the first one.
In addition to this, I also get excited to collaborate and engage with other individuals, and I’m extremely amazed to witness what teams can develop and deliver. I am fascinated by knowing how ideas that are nurtured in a particular group can ultimately become so unique just with the involvement of people of diverse nature.
Being an eCommerce Leader, What Are The Major Challenges That You Confront?
Undoubtedly, an online business has various aspects, and it is tough to obtain first-rate advice. There are many opinions, however, it is not easy to find advice that will prove to be beneficial for your enterprise; what are the things that should be prioritized, and what influences the behavior of your customers.
Never in my life has come a day when I have worked to sell something, and it didn’t sell. If I have trust in something, I tend to sell it, and I make sure to sell it hard.
What Leadership Characteristics And Traits or Strengths And Weaknesses Do You Believe Are Important or Resist You From Achieving Excellence In Your Specific Field?
I believe it is essential for you to listen to what market/audience demands, and the data that is obtained from eCommerce endeavors is different and unique in contrast to the traditional businesses.
This is required to be mined to develop an effective strategy and pivot the enterprises promptly, especially during the initial stages.
Working on the plans promptly is important. Before starting a business, I do extensive research and read different books regarding it. However, there is nothing that can push you to execute it.
You may have read about the cash flow and facing the fear of failure, but when you are in it, you will see a completely new perspective regarding these.
If someone ever asks me for advice, I’ll tell them to hold their nerves, eliminate emotions when making decisions, and always remember the reason why they started in the first place.
