As the mastermind behind the amazing wardrobe in Ale Zabala’s new music video “Mala Jugada” Carolyn knows a few things about how to put a “lewk” together. The stylist has been growing in the latin fashion industry down in Miami and is not stopping anytime soon!
Lucky for us, we got to speak with Carolyn to ask her some of our burning fashion questions. We talked about everything from her fall/winter must haves and favorite affordable brands to her thoughts on the old money trend making a comeback. “I “am completely obsessed with the Old Money look, I even consider it the core to all of my personal looks” Carolyn said about the classic trend.
What’s the best piece of fashion advice you have received?
Carolyn Rubido: The best piece of advice I have received regarding fashion is to make sure that you are dressing according to how you feel and not just for the trends. Always make sure that what you are wearing reflects you and makes you feel the most you possible!
What are some of your favorite fall/winter statement pieces?
Carolyn Rubido: I am a big Ralph Lauren fan…. So I am going to go with the cowboy/girl boots. I am EXTREMELYYYYYY excited that these boots are THE statement piece for the fall/winter 2021.
What are some of your favorite affordable brands and investment pieces?
Carolyn Rubido: Want to know the real secret to getting affordable pieces? Thrifting. I do not have a favorite affordable brand…. If I want to get a bang for my buck, I thrift.
